I put the same cambo on the DSN DR650 project bike and had similar results. Between the two of us we'll have a good basis to check their long term mileage. They're more aggressive than the MT-21's... Kurt

if i might, i'd like to add some memorable moments: - seeing how poorly a klr can go through the sand with the wrong tire pressures - (coming from the flip side of the country) meeting so many really nice, fun, cool people - whiplash walking down main street. wow, they sure do grow pretty women out west - hearing "yeeee-haaa" from (robert) morgan as he climbs some rocks on a cherry old honda trail 90 - realizing we haven't come close to ruining the beauty of this country, yet - the feeling of restoration of faith in how amazingly kind people can be when kurt and kim simpson loan me a bike, let me ride a brand new quota on the street and offroad, treat me like family, then let me drive kim's car to the airport so i wouldn't miss a flight _pete -----Original Message----- From: k650dsn@... We had riders from Canada and Mexico and as far away as Miami, FL. KLR650's still ruled the roost, but Honda, Suzuki, Husaberg, KTM, Moto Guzzi, BMW, Yamaha were also present. Memorable Momments (in no particular order): Meeting the famous Redondo Ron Seeing Kurt Simpson at Karaoke night.... you had to be there. Taking a long nap in the tall, cool grass at Warren lake. Discovering how well a KLR can go through sand when equipped with the right tires. Listening to the beautiful music of Beth Cook-Verne as it softly echoed through the twighlight in Old City Park. Meeting all of the new folks and catching up with the veteran rally goers. Watching Mariola and Bogdan work on a bike together =:-o Having a Moab Diner Breakfast Burrito and coffee every morning with the early birds.
