Yow, that's not a real bike, is it? It way too clean. It looks more like Tamiya have started making 1:1 scale motorcycle model kits now. Mister_T

I agree, it looks like a model to me, sorry Ron. The gold tint on the spoke nipples doesn't look right. Conall- proud owner of 3 scale models of the KLR650.

This thing climbs arches as if someone was lifting it from above. This is a shot when it was polished up just before losing the kick stand and receiving it's first badge of honor in the form of scratched side panels and bent lever. (Sorry Pete. If you want repeater capability for a few more dollars you may want to check out Keenwoods Freetalk XL.  $199 to $250 each.  Also a GMRS 2 watt, but with repeater programmability.  *Note for the record the Motorola Distance and the Keenwoods XL's are cross compatible with FRS Channels 1-7.  Just make sure the squelch codes match.  A few FRS radios have odd spacing and/or don't have the normal 38 codes per channel.  I've been told that the extra power 2 watts vs. 1/2 watt will only increase range slightly and will just use up batteries faster.  UHF is line of sight.  I've used FRS clearly & cleanly well over the 5 miles "line of sight only".  I'll be doing some extensive testing for maximum range this summer from adjacent mountain tops in my area.  Some of the better quality FRS radios often have better features for half the price of 2 watt GMRS radios with only slightly less range.  IMHO.   Glen, A-13 450 miles "Burnout   Buster "
