power loss

Friends, I'd like to call upon the collective wisdom of this list for some advice. My '99 KLR has about 2500 miles on it and about 800 miles on a Supertrapp/Dynojet/K&N upgrade. It's been running perfectly and powerfully until today, when I experienced a sudden loss of power. It cuts out slightly, and will only get up to 5K RPM--slowly. It idles perfectly and starts as well, too. I'm letting it cool off down in the driveway right now--I thought I'd ask advice before I started taking things apart.
