new to group,bike decision made!

Hey, Peter.
Congrats on the bike, but ya shoulda bought the "Garbage Bag Green"
one
. Just kidding. Nice that you have a choice in colors, a lot
of listers/potential buyers are finding that none of their local
dealers have any KLR's left in ANY color, and probably won't be
getting any until the new model year is released. You seen the new
pics yet? Gawd, what an ugly bike (course I said that about the Y2K
when I first saw it too).
So now that you have the bike, you need another credit card! Get
yerself some bags, a rack from Arne or Tim, a Dual Star centerstand,
a SS front brake line, a tank bag, a Givi trunk, bash plate, highway
pegs, GPS and mount, Progressive Springs, taller windscreen, better
handguards (aluminum), new shift lever (yours will probably break if
this list is any indication), etc, etc.
Seriously, have fun and if you need any advice just ask here and
someone will have info for ya. Just don't ask about oil!!
Cheers,
D.
