[dsn_klr650] dunlop trailmax ? help

I had a Dunlop Trailmax (D604) on the rear for a couple of thousand miles, and took it off. I found it to have too little grip even on dry roads--on wet roads it was really bad. I never took it off road (except the road I live on, which is pretty rough gravel and rock) but the large and shallow tread blocks make me think it wouldn't be too great there either. Dreas
