We took the BMW and old model Tiger on some very rough roads but also fell in the sand more times than I want to think about. Roads that are a gas on the KLR (like the road from Puertocitos to Bahia Gonzaga) take great care on the GS. By the same token I did roads (trails) in Baja last January on a DR350 that I could not do on the KLR. It's all relative. Regards Kurt Grife
