Pulpit mode on... Agreed, but lets look at the bikes compared, apples and oranges. Why would anyone think a GS and the KTM Adv. would even compare? Read: 1150GS Heavy road work, light dirt. KTM: Adv. Heavy dirt work, light road. BMW would out perform on touring, but the KTM would (does) dominate on anything less "civilized". Of course there are those riders that can do anything on anything, but bikes are designed to excel at specific tasks. Malcom Smith could not have done so well off road with a 900RR, but better than I! Pulpit mode off... --- Rev.
