[dsn_klr650] trapp ids2

I just went through the same thing with my IDS2. I think your idea of a
tailpipe expander on the outlet of the S-pipe is a good one. I was wishing
for one when installing my system. I puzzled over the "reuse the stock
gasket" instruction too. It doesn't fit anywhere on the new system.
One of our fellow listers, sorry I don't remember who, had the same problem.
He fixed his muffler to S-pipe leak with a liberal dousing of high temp RTV.
I followed his lead and it seems to be working out well with no obvious
leaks. I used Permatex brand high temp RTV, the red stuff.
I've done several mods to my A13 lately. I have been to busy, (read lazy),
to post all the details to the list. The info is probably old news to some
listers, but I think some of the things I found will raise a few eyebrows.
Let me know i the tailpipe expander works or if you decide to go with RTV.
