[dsn_klr650] klr ticking ?

You are almost certainly hearing a little valve train noise, doesn't
necessarily mean that you have a problem. My A5 ticks a little when the
valves are adjusted within spec as have most other OHC bikes I have owned
over the years. You might want to check your valve clearances just for peace
of mind. The other possibility is that you have a worn spark plug lead and
you are hearing a spark jumping. That would be a very bad thing around the
gas tank.

First thing to try is the balancer chain adjustment. My guess is as soon as
you loosen that bolt a tad, you'll hear a click as it adjusts itself. Snug
the bolt back, replace the rubber plug, and start her up!

where on the rear shock is the rebound setting? is it the oneway
setting under the black plastic clip on the bottom of the shock?
