There is a two full page article (an advertisement) about a KLR650 and cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. It is presented by Kawasaki with a few pictures and some interesting information about the area. If you don't find a copy and are interested I can scan and e-mail you. Dana E Hager Nazareth, PA

Then let the enviro folks go after corporate America and leave our hobby/sport alone. But you don't see too much of that approach anymore because it became unpopular to cost people their jobs. I'm not saying corporate America is right and should be left alone. What I am saying though, is that I, as an individual, am tired of having my sport continuously attacked because I am an easy target and can't afford the high powered attorneys corporate America can. If the eco folk want to really fix the planet, instead of their ego's, then go after the true culprits and leave the rest of us alone. But this won't happen and we all know it, from both sides of the fence. Besides, riding your KLR, dirt bike, bicycle, etc., is not causing any major damage in the majority of usage areas. There isn't anything you can do that a mudslide, forest fire, snow blizzard, or very heavy rain, can't erase. Yes, there are a few really sensitive eco areas around. However, we are already banned from those areas and have been for years. The current enviro movement is based on misinformation, fear tactics, and back door political lobbying through special interest groups. This is the very reason that I support the AMA and their government relations activities, especially in their attempts to stop land closures and bike bans on public and private property. Jim Sherlock
