Hey Chris, I live in Sandy and I'm about to start a new job at UVCC. Stop by in two weeks or so and ask for me. It would be nice to compare notes in person. I will be at the new construction site, look for a black KLR. Dennis Angus A-11 CECO

It's quite nice having to fill up every week for $7.50 to $8.00, as opposed to the truck I sold for this bike that I had to fill every week. It had two 20 gallon tanks and I had to fill at least one of them every week. It got roughly 8-10 mpg From: stingray@... I was running Dunlop Trailmaxes, at a little higher than listed pressure on the highway. Keeping the bike around 65 mph, I got nearly 65 mpg on the highway. Only way it could be wrong is if the odo is off. In CA, I typically got 50, and it's dropped a little since I put the jet kit in and opened the airbox a bit. Probably down to 45. But there you have it. Yeah, I think the oxygenated gas in CA kills your mileage. My friend in Oregon has the same problem. If you put oxygen in the gas, rather than take it all from the air, that's less energy content. Chris -- Dr. J.
