I greatly enjoyed the trip journal you wrote about your trip to Nevada's Black Rock Desert region. Your adventure came alive in my mind while I was reading it. I traced your route in my road atlas and except for a few places like "Steven's Camp" and "Frog's Pond" was able to find most of the roads and towns you visited. I hope to take trips like that one of these days. You didn't mention a few technical things that I and maybe other listers would be interested in - such as: 1) What kind of tires were you running? 2) What helmet / goggle combo did you use. 3) What MPG did you average on the trip. 4) Is your KLR stock or have you made mods to it?
