Awesome!
My best past and future memories include the Nevada desert and its people.

Try putting the bike in gear, clutch pulled in, roll the bike foward
or backward (depending on the slope). This will help break the clutch
plates free and help the graunch. The plates stick together for a
variety of reasons and for the most part it is normal. The springs
squeeze the oil out from between them when the bike sits for a long
period sort of sticking them together. Sometimes the hot oil while
riding gets squeezed out pretty fast too. Stiffer aftermarket springs
make it worse. The clutch plate surface can play a big part too. Idle
or engagement speed some times make a difference, also foot
technique, don't try to squeeze it in, make a nice positive tap. My
XR after sitting for a week will absolutly stall the motor on it's
first engagement if do not do the above said rolling exercise. My KLR
is not as bad c'ause it gets ridden more but even after sitting over
night it is hard to roll around the shop in gear until the plates
break free.
