Greetings KLR dudes and dudettes: So very many of you have sent well wishes and prayers, both on list and off. I am completely overwhelmed with your kindness and compassion. I've printed out messages and read them to Tina (she's still under the influence of a MAJOR concussion, and sedatives, and doesn't even recognize me, or anyone else, but I KNOW she hears and feels the good thoughts and prayers). Thank you so very very much. She's still critical in ICU, but at least is now stable, and may be upgraded to serious if she holds her own for another 24 hours or so. Other than that, not much change for today. Tried to talk with the Neuro and Ortho doctors/specialists that will be working on her in the near future, but no success. They're pretty busy guys, and I realize that each person's crisis is the most important. Guess I would rather have them planning the treatment than talking to me, but I sure would like to know. Of course, I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks for all the support. I have no family anywhere near this area, so you folks are filling in, and doing a wonderful job! I hope to meet ALL of you someday, and shake your hand or hug you (yes, I can do that in spite of my "manliness"; hope YOU can!). Tearfully, Tom PS Buy and ALWAYS wear the best protective gear!
