Whatever happened to Smokey? Used to be you couldn't go anywhwere in a NP or NF without seeing him. Now you just see signs for controlled burns. Clinton- Just say No to Smokey the Bear. Conall-known to blown off a few surplus military signal flares and smoke gernades. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Missing old school friends? smokey the bear nklr
I saw a big Smokey the Bear display this winter in the Chirachua
National Park in AZ inside their visitors center. Made a big deal about how
Smokey had been a bit to adamant about putting out forest fires and actually
caused harm to the environment of the forest. Went on to explain how they
now just watch a lot of the natural burns and make sure nobody gets hurt.
Kinda neat.

[dsn_klr650] nklr motorcycle pants?
James, I am one long tall sucker too, with a 36" inseam. It was the final reason that I bought some of the Joe Rocket ballistic pants, even though everyone dissed them as being not good enough. Once I pulled off the cheap looking plastic medallion thingy, they looked just fine, and I've used them one season, they really work and fit well. If you get the XL in "tall" they might fit you. Maybe the XXl in "tall" for your waist size...that would be my guess. I believe the Firstgear pants also come in tall sizes as well. The Rocket pants were cheap, about $110, have nice armor, and zip up the sides, way up. I rather like 'em. Inseam length has always been a problem, as well as torso length, for off-the-rack purchases. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
