Skip Faulkner has agreed to hold a workshop in Moab. He will explain and supervise the installation of his genius fuel tank mod that accesses the useless 1/2 gal in the right side of the gas tank. Skip says this can be done in less than half an hour if memory serves me well. The costs are minimal. Since I'm kinda the liaison on this deal, he will send me the list of parts for those, like myself, that want to have them in advance and thus perform the mod on the spot under his watchful eye. Like the Professor's electrics demo, the time and place will be decided on and announced at the rally. I want that extra 1/2 gallon ! It`s in the archives from last year. Conell will post the parts and where you can get them. I figure about $5 worth. Another mod I`ll be showing installs a fitting and valve in the tank without welding. Those parts are around $18, but a hole has to be drilled in the tank.The other one doesn`t alter the tank. We`ll try and take pictures. Skip

You need 1/4" ID line. The clear fuel line works well for this because of it`s small OD. If you use silicone line, make sure it`s has the same OD as the clear 1/4" ID line. Because of the small petcock hole we have to work with and because I didn`t want to alter the tank with a larger hole, the OD is critical. When fluid lines are referenced with a size but no reference to ID or OD, it almost always will be ID. The polyvinyl line in my work sled is 8 years old and still good. Skip
