Good advice. I did that for awhile but the rear Gripster goes about 7,500 miles for me (95% street-5% dirt). I went to a steet tire in the rear (Avon Roadrunners, Pirelli Stradas, that sort of thing) and kept the Gripster in the front. This combo works exceedingly well, for me, especialy with the RoadRunner, which is about a 12,000 mile tire for me. -Tom '96 KLR 650
