Hey gang;
One trick which may work on the KLR to extend range is something I
learned years ago touring on a Sportster with a 2 1/4 gallon tank (!!!!????).
Lean the bike over to the petcock side and slosh the gas over to that side
of the tank. Or you can wildly swerve to the left (or into the direction of
the petcock) then to the right, which also sloshes the gas to the other side.
It really works,and should be easy on a 400 lb. bike.
