So what's the deal with KHI stopping production on the KLR when they've got a
buyer like the US Marines, and possibly others, to vouch for its worthiness?
You'd have thought the Marines would have looked into the future availability of
the machine they were about to spend a whack of money converting to their
liking...or was this a one-off buy? I would have thought they'd want a bike
that would stay as part of their inventory for a number of years, so that
everyone was familiar with it... Or maybe its just Kawasaki shooting itself in
the foot...
Has the 'last year of the KLR' rumour been confirmed?
