Well...my first mod arrived in the mail today. A new set of stock Dunlops from Dualstar! Yes, "Thunderdog" will soon be ready for Dakar. Look for me there next year. I'll be the slightly broken privateer in the stiff hi-points, trapped under his bike, at the bottom of the first dune, trying to wave to the support chopper. UPS delivered the tires a couple days ahead of Dualstars original promise. They really are take-offs, don't seem to have ever been ridden on. For any that have not checked lately, the set price has been lowered to 100.00. Actually got the tires for a local ride coming up here at end of July (Devils Creek Dual Sport Weekend). My first non competitive event. Sounds like a blast. Moab sounds like a Lot of fun, been listening to you all & checking out the pics from past Moab rides. Looks like a Huge area! Just not possible for me to do with work schedule this year. Next mod up is a Givi tail case w/backrest. Anybody tried the E36 as a tail case? Will a full face helm fit in it?
