Amen Mark!! When I come here to read, I want to read about motorcycles, not someone's political/social opinion. BTW, I wholeheartedly subscribe to the old idea that political and social opinions are like a**holes. Every has one and they all stink (except mine, of course)!! Jim

insulated tape for heated grips

Just changing over my bars to Renthals, and I want to put my heater grip inserts on - I'm wondering if anyone knows a tape that will take high temps without getting sticky (those heaters get pretty warm) but would insulate them from the bar (left side only, of course). I'm going to try muffler repair tape, since it can obviously take the heat. Any better ideas? Is there such beast as a high-temp electrical tape? Rich
