[dsn_klr650] looking for summer jacket recommendation

I just bought the Joe Rocket Ballistic jacket and pants (against the suggestions of some of the best sources available). So far I like the stuff. There are zippered vents on the sleeves and back to provide flow through venting at 15 mph and up, it is light enough without the liner to be ok in anything under 95F. In the jacket there is four removable pads that is called armor, but I don't know if it would help much on impact. It does have quite a bit of high density nylon and Kevlar (they say) in strategic locations, but still I hope not find out if it works in a big get off. Plenty 'o pockets for the 'stuff. The colors are bright enough to be seen, and help in reflecting the harsh sun. It also has reflective strips on the back. All in all I feel I made a good decision. --- Rev.
