Peter, After hauling dirt bikes for years, I fell into the habit of thinking I'd tow this bike also. Wrong. First the weight hits you.......and you realize whata monster you got on your hands........Then, you ride the bike, just once, to that far off destination......and baby, there ain't nothin like it. No more Trucks. No more trailers. No more motorhomes. No more hours of tedium, and endless tiedown trivia.......Just YOU, on the open road...............and the stars above your campsite at night. Yes, I know, but egroups webversion is intrusive, wants me to run cookies, and one of their messages froze my latest version Eudora mail client on one of the fastest machines known to man. There are some other complaints like my unwillingness to deal with unpredictable bandwidth issues on the road, so trust level is somewhat low on this end. Just call me retro. Anybody else want to admit their quality of life decreases as push tech bandwidth increases? Just grouchy today. I'll be much better in a week. Departure is tomorrow, a.m. Stuart
