I have an Aerostich Roadcrafter and they do repairs after a fall all the time. You might want to see if your MFG. will do this. It saves a lot of $$$ this way. How about getting them to buy a replacement Kilimanjaro, AND keeping the old one? As far as the waterproofing goes, I'd say it depends on how much material was scuffed off, but you could try to apply some waterproofing spray to that area. Jeff

I have IRC GP-110 front and rear, great on the dirt. Only complaint is the big noise the front tire do when you lean on the street above 50 mph.
