I have an Aerostich Roadcrafter and they do repairs after a fall all the time. You might want to see if your MFG. will do this. It saves a lot of $$$ this way. How about getting them to buy a replacement Kilimanjaro, AND keeping the old one? As far as the waterproofing goes, I'd say it depends on how much material was scuffed off, but you could try to apply some waterproofing spray to that area. Jeff
