When I went to a 510x17 Cheng Shin 858, it was too wide and rubbed the chain guard, which I had to remove. You may experience the same problem with the Kenda. Craig Highline A2

Bought a set of MT-21's a few weeks back and I've decided they are the best dirt tire I've tried yet. The problem is I can't ride the way I want on the highway. Trying to slow down, take it easy in turns etc., doesn't work for me and The MT-21's are a tad scary. Soooo, I bought a set of Kenda 270's today. The only sizes they had was a 510/17, 325/21. My question is, will the 510 fit? It looks close to the same width as the Perrelli. Has anyone ran a tire this size? If so, any problems? Now I've got to figure what to do with all the tires I now have. Two spare sets is overkill. You might try the IRC GP-1. Its similar to the Kenda, but not quite as aggressive I think. When they get worn in the rubber is pretty good on the street, and decent on the dirt. Jeff
