You are right to be concerned about the front tire turning. But I have hauled
all sorts of bikes across the country. You need to use two tie downs on the
front compressing the forks. Two on back slightly compressing them. You have
a choice now to either use a wheel chock for 50 $ or use 2x4 4x4 or other
wooden brace on either side of the tire or use another set of tie downs or
rope to keep the wheel from turning. All work well. Good luck
