Positive pressure working spaces/instrument spaces are use much in industries to keep bad environment out and good environment in. As engine rooms on offshore drilling rigs, instrument panels in rig floors. With a + air pressure present, gas cannot invade the area and create an explosive possibility. Once saw a rig in which gas invade the living quarters and ignited.
