I just have to thank everyone who replied about my cooling fan problems. Also, thanks to the lister who advised me on the importance of wire gauge. I had electronics when I was in High School over 20 years ago and thought I was well versed in electronics, but I forgot much. I guess many listers already know DON"T CONNECT THE FAN TO THE EUROPEAN RUNNING LIGHTS! Unless of course you want to risk cookin your wires. And the final embarrassment; shop mechanic said it was a blown fuse. Hey, life's an adventure and you can't learn anything by not taking risks and thats half the fun. It was definitely an educational experience. I think I'll play it safe for a little while as the riding season is here and don't want to be without a bike on the weekends. Hey Pascal! Yeah, that was a fun day. Are you sure you want to sell the beast? Everyone was having their own sorts of problems in that stuff. The XR watered out. The DT200 went over at least once that I saw. I think even Shane's XT was having troubles on the mucky tight singletrack, before you fell over at the rocky creek crossing. The DR was having all sorts of problems in the mud with the road-oriented tires before he left. Just think of the new guy on that new 200cc 2 stroke. Twigs were giving him the fits. Now, once he gets experienced he'll be eating us alive, but that's next year

I thought the dent 'happened' a long time ago, not that day. I came close to dropping my KLR on that same creek you did but luckily Mike and Brian were there and saved it from falling on me.
