Yes Karl, that was an amazing day indeed. I was there for the whole ride. Came back with a broken front Fairing and minus 2 flashers I made a fairly large dent in my tank just were it meets the seat with my, uhhh, crotch area. Yes very painful but I did not fall or go over the bars. Intact ego but a newfound soprano voice The KLR is now officially for sale, I m looking to replace it with something lighter. I enjoyed this list and appreciate all the wonderful tips and tricks I ve learned but it is now time for me to get a real dirtbike. Stu, Check out http://www.acerbis.com & click on FUEL TANKS. They have 2 aux fuel tanks that mount to the front forks and a 6 liter (1.6 gallon) rear tank ($90).
