Hey Mark, I have a suspicious feeling that your squeak may be from the speedo gear or cable. Instead of focusing on your brake, try getting the front wheel off the ground and spinning it with your ear close to the speedo gear side of the rim. Let me know if my 'spidey senses' were right. Rob

Not if they haven't been lubed properly in the first place. Bogdan

Hey Mark, You don't need all that fancy equipment to do your wheel bearings. I have it, and I don't use it. Just makes it easier. You just have to use more caution. The bearings are cheap and readily available, so if in doubt just replace them. A press is better than a hammer but there's no replacement for experience. Perhaps the speedo gear is dry? The large home improvement warehouse stores (Home Depot, Lowe's) have a better selection and the specialty "screw" suppliers have the best selection. Check the yellow pages under "SCREWS" or "FASTENERS". You won't find an exact black fairing screw at any of these places, but at $3-$4 [US$] each from Kawi, I can rattle-can my replacements. Professor
