stupid squeaking

I've got the same sort of annoying squeek, but it seems to be coming from the rear. It just started yesterday, and I notice it a low speeds (< 50km/h). I hear it the best when I'm coming to a stop light or in slow traffic. Releasing the brakes doesn't change anything. I suspect it might be a brake pad dragging, but I'll have to check it further. My KLR has only 2100km on it, or about 1300 miles, so if I can't locate it quickly, it's off to the dealer. Cheers, D. GBG eh14
