Wow, the only thing missing is a flashy 1957 T-Bird, and a .44 Magnum.

This reminds me of my search for a house. I told my wife that we were
looking for a garage with an integral house. I ended up with a seperate
garage anyway. Not quite the dream garage but it will do.

I've been thinking, especially since I've achieved Moto-Nirvana, that
what I really need is a large garage with a loft. No house, just a
big (at least 4-car) w/ loft for sleeping area/kitchen/etc. Oh yeah,
a deck out back for the bbq and jacuzzi.
I'm sure I could be happy...

My house has a workshop on the ground level next to the family room that I
can bring my bikes into. When we were looking at the house I walked into
that room and thought "where do I sign?"

Am back. Perfect garage is a quonset, in Tahiti, aligned with tradewinds
for free flow of air. Bronzed maidens would bring tools, and maybe even
work on the bike. A Cessna Caravan on floats would be inside, ready to
slide down the slope to the lagoon. You guys would be elsewhere,
discussing truss and insulation configurations.

I've not built the perfect garage, but I've seen a few nice ones. I
say, forget the intercom. Who wants to be disturbed when they are
overhauling their best friend (I mean the KLR, you sick minded people)
anyway? The phone I can see as a necessity for ordering parts, pizzas,

May as well move the computer out there too. Probably should think about
a bed or cot, unless you plan on using your camping gear out there, because
if you follow my advice, you may need a place to sleep every night

The KLR will probably be around as long as the desert tortoise, barring
enviro-mentally unstable folks from getting their surrogate lap dog
candidate, Al Gore elected.

For the love all that is holy and good in the world say it isn't so.
Kawasaki cannot be dropping the KLR 650 in favor of the KLE.
I am a 32 year old father of two who is a full time law student. The only
thing that keeps me sane is knowing that a Brand new 2001 KLR is going to
be
my graduation present to myself next year(I even have the full blessing of
the love of my life who is soooo tired of hearing me whine about wanting
one
she is willing ride with me once I get it).
