Hey gang, I know you've all been on the edge of your seats wondering if I ever found a pair of boots that fit. Well, I finally did. I ended up with a pair of Sidi Discovery's and I'm very happy with them. Ironically, I ended up with size 12, which fit much better then the Combat Touring Boot size 12. Strange, 'cause they're both made by Sidi, and have similar features. Someone on the list recommended going to a cycle dealer and trying on a number of boots of the same size till I found the ones that fit best. I ended up doing this, just did it via UPS vs. the store. Anyway, moral of the story, keep trying till you get the proper fit, especially with the big bucks you can drop. I love the Discovery's, tried them out yesterday on the trails, they're great. They have a little bit of the "boy racer" look, but they're not as bad as some.
