>>"These boots ain't make for shift'n" by Verle and the Alpine Stars
Hi Verle, I recently bought the Alpinestars Tech 8, and had a tough time shifting. I had planned to move the shifter up a notch or two on the splines at my 500 mile first service. But now that the boots are broken in, I can point my toes, so there is no need to adjust it. They seem fairly comfortable to walk in also, although an epic "hike-out" wouldn't be fun. The way I have to walk in them makes me feel like a bad-ass. And damn do I look good when I peek at my reflection while riding past store windows! Attachments :Several folks have expressed interest in obtaining info for the AMA Durty Dabbers DualSport in MillHall, PA (June 3 & 4). There are also the Seven Mountains DualSport June 25 in Milroy, PA and the KORR DS ride in Johnsown, PA on June 24; it would be fun to hit those two back-to-back. Attached are info and entry forms. PATRA, the organizers of the Seven Mtns event has a web site at http://www.pamall.net/patra. KORR doesn't have a ride info on their site yet, but they're at http://www.korr.org Hope to see you at one or more of these events. Thanks, Mark B2 A2
