LOS ANGELES, Ca - Suzuki's motocross phenom, Travis Pastrana, is set to join six-time AMA Supercross champion, Jeremy McGrath on the Friday, May 12th Tonight Show. In an effort to replicate the thrill-a-minute action and excitement that is Supercross, Tonight Show Producer Steve Ridgeway chose to invite the two racers to be part of the show. Pace Motor Sports and Dirt Wurx will bring more that 1000 yards of dirt (that's more than 175 truckloads!) onto the NBC lot and construct a downsized version of an actual Supercross track complete with a whoop section, triple jump and a rhythm section. With Pastrana and McGrath both appearing.this specially designed track will certainly provide an incredible backdrop for a true case of extraordinary talent. This marks a milestone of sorts for the sport of Supercross.a very broadbased, national audience in the millions, that may not otherwise be privy to the sport, will receive a very realistic sample of the wonderful sport of Supercross! According to Tonight Show Producer Steve Ridgeway, initial response to the Pastrana/McGrath May 12th appearance has be exceptional. The Tonight Show with Jay Leno airs nightly on NBC.
