Hello again all! Thanks for all the great input on my scratched windshield etc. I have two shifters ordered from Fred (thanks Sarah, good idea) and the buffing compound in the garage ready for Saturday. Another question; Just received a front rim/hub from a salvage yard. It's for a drum brake so I can't use it on my A13. Can someone tell me when the KLR went to disc front brakes and does anyone have an old disc-braked hub they'd like to part with sans rotor? Also, I'm going to brush out this drum hub and see if it's any good. If anyone wants it e-mail me off list. Pay shipping charges and its yours. Moral of this story: The part numbers in BuyKawasaki.com are not always correct. (Or maybe Jim was sold the wrong part...) DR350's can be lowered with "Kouba Links" they are low to begin with as well. A good electric start post '94 can be had for $2,200-$2,600. The DR650SE '96 and later would also be a good choice and are relatively low and are designed by the factory to be lowered as well. Expect to pay $2,600-$3,200 for a good '96-97... Kurt
