Easiest way to deploy the centerstand is to lean the bike to the left on the
sidestand until the rear wheel is off the ground enough to extend the
centerstand. Then you just rock the bike up straight and flip up the side
stand. Biggest problem with the centerstand is that it doesn't have a tang
to put your foot on for leverage.

[dsn_klr650] [nklr] help, stoppies?
This was on my mind but I continued to do them anyway. I was trying to keep
the wear on the tires even, the front is rarely on the ground. 8^)

Good thinking. Not to sound like a "mother hen", but watch your back lifting like this. Unless you can get your knees under it and lift with your legs... Cheers, Arne> I'm really impressed with my DualStar centerstand, but found no place > to grab for the big hoist up. After not much thought I pulled the pin > on the left passenger peg and flipped it upside down. A folding grab > handle! If a passenger shows up, I flip it back.
