front sprocket question - asap as i need to ride to work tomorr

Gord, The KLR600 service manual shows the same sprocket mounting setup as the '95 & earlier KLR650s, two bolts securing the mounting plate to the sprocket. DO NOT USE YOUR NEW SPROCKET, even if the c-clip fits on the countershaft. It's a real ugly (& painfull) sight when a chain locks up! It's not worth the risk. Professor Federal Way, Wa.
