I got my reworked seat from Bill Mayer recently and I tried it out for the first time today on a four hour trip. I used to have a Corbin (the one with the evil dip) on the bike and could only ride about 100km before needing to rest. The Mayer seat is much much better. I'm very happy with it. My dipped corbin seat is for sale! (I'm not sure how much I want for it.) Anyone who is interested can contact me off list. I don't recommend the corbin, but I guess it is one way to get a little closer to the ground for those with short legs. I bought a new rear Gripster today. I got about 19,000 km out of my last one. I probably could have gotten a few more km out of it too. The front Gripster has the same number of km on it and still has a fair amount of tread left. I think that is pretty darn good.
