Hello all,
I picked up my '94 KLR650 last Saturday. What a great bike! I've had
it out in the woods a few times and put about 50 miles on the street. I
love it!
The only thing I can find wrong so far is a bad Choke cable. I tried to
free it up with some silicon spray (which worked fine for freeing up the
Clutch cable) but it didn't work. Can the Choke cable be changed
without removing the carb? I couldn't figure out how to disconnect it
without removing the carb.
Also, are there any good online parts sources? I'm not too thrilled
with any of the bike dealers in my area.

Hey Blind Bat,
Don't feel bad about not finding the article, I printed it off a
while back & it took at bit of poking around to find it at:
http://www.dualsport.org
click on the KLR650 logo & near the bottom of the page is
a link to "fuse box modification"
also, go to:
http://www.listquest.com/lq/search.html?ln=klr650
and type the folowing words: fuse box mod
you'll come up with 16 posts from the old archives relating to
an electrifying experience.
