Jeez, Doug, sounds like a lot to me. I live in BC and have been over and back lots of time and have never had that much trouble going either way by road (flying is another matter). Like Arne says, if you're concerned, get a passport. Money? I don't think anyone carries that much cash, and my bank card works in the US so I assume yours would work here. Make sure you have your proof of insurance, etc, for your bike. Try going to http://canada.gc.ca/main_e.html (Government of Canada Website) and look for the Canada Customs area. There should be all the info you need for coming in. Cheers, D.
