A 7.62 can would probably provide even a bit more space and still fit nicely. Also, the good metal ammo cans provide a better foundation for locking mechanisms. Personally, I found a small back pack that works great. It has the normal shoulder straps with two side and two back tightening straps that I attach to the bike rack. I needed something that would compress since I sometimes carry a large bag of sparring gear on my A13. I don't ride in the rain much so that wasn't a concern. Cost: 19.00.
