[dsn_klr650] homebrew radar detector bracket for the klr

Reply to: RE: [DSN_klr650] Homebrew radar detector bracket for the KLR sounds great. for those less inclined, i bought a mount from aerostich that works great. it's the slipstream radar mount - item 2296 for $37. i attached it to the cross bar. i also put a bed of velcro on the plastic platform and mating velcro on the underside of the detector for a sure grip. the rubber band that comes with the holder snugs everything down nicely. when i'm not using the detector, i just unscrew the unit at the ccrossbar clamp, taking the stalk and everything above that off, leaving nothing but the clamp. nice and clean. i currently use it on my f650, but am planning on getting one for the klr as well. i'm sure it will fit.
