homebrew radar detector bracket for the klr

The collective has been most helpful in giving me different ideas for my KLR. It's time for me to give back an idea. This week (May 1, 2000) I built a custom mount for my motorcycle. I used aluminum trim channel for 3/4" plywood, got a 4 foot piece for less than $3.00 at my local Menards. I cut it with my Dremel tool and a cut-off disk. I trimmed and bent it to the shape I needed. I applied some sacred JB Weld to the joint where it was bent, painted it black and attached velcro. Here is a picture of the bracket, feel free to make one, I like it. Your mileage may vary. If you want to see more pics, just let me know, I have a few more.
