wet butt...

Went riding yesterday and got caught in the rain...the new Corbin takes in water like the stocker never did...I went for the vinyl basketweave, thinking a little more ventilation for summer would be good...maybe a bad call for the Grey Northwet...Goretex won't protect from sitting or leaning against something wet, so the 'stich was drenched in the butt. I was thinking of using Nikwax or some kind of waterproofing on there - anyone had any similar experiences / solutions? And 'don't live in Vancouver' doesn't count... Rich

Thanks, Professor. I see what you mean by that. I never paid much attention to that part of the message. Cheers, D.
