 Now behave yourself.  I like a heated debate as much as the next guy, but
 that horse is dead.
 
 The archives are the only place to find this information.  I too had these
 questions and the archives were very helpful.  I'll tell you though while
 reading a couple of those posts... I could just picture a pump shotgun
 getting chambered.  Lighten up guys... breathe deeply... smile big and
 relax, think of a happy place.  But don't start trading on-line.

    I say just fill the damn thing up to the top of the sight glass  (2.5  US
 quarts) and be happy.
 
     My reasoning? 43,000 miles of trouble-free operation while doing so.
