I haven't been keeping up with the digest lately. I recently sent my stock
seat to Bill Mayer to be customized. I'll let the list know how it turns
out. Also new on my bike for this year will be a 16T sprocket and IMS pegs
 (thanks Fred).

A buddy of mine (Brent) who was riding a ZX6 to Victoria met a couple KLR
riders on the ferry who were just returning from a Mexico trip. He didn't
catch their names but figured they must be from the KLR list because they
had several of the "list accessories" (side racks (tim's?), PVC tool kits,
etc.) Was this any of you?

Also I believe some of you may be coming through Fort St. John, BC on your
way to Alaska this Spring/Summer. For those of you who missed earlier
invitations, feel free to contact me off list. It would be great to meet
you. One piece of advice for those headed this way, although the Alaska hwy
starts in Dawson Creek and goes through Fort St. John, a much nicer drive is
to go north through Hudson's Hope to Fort St. John. That route takes you
through the Peace River valley. Great views, curvey roads (although a
little bumpy), and lots of wildlife to see (go slow). The drive from mile 0
at Dawson Creek to Fort St. John is flat and boring.
