[dsn_klr650] broken frame bolt
Those bolts will vibrate out (not dealers fault) and they will shear if the
KLR is ridden aggressive;y off road. They're not manufactured to take the
off road pounding. Go to the DSN webpage and read the article on the
Chattahoochee Forest DSR from two years ago, my stepson tried to keep up
with those of us on more dirt oriented machines, and the KLR broke. It's not
the bikes fault, it wasn't made to be ridden like a KTM or Honda XRL. It's
an Adventure Touring Bike, and a damn fine one at that! Won't find a better
all-around do everything bike, but ya gotta keep that in mind!

True enough... It also helps to stand up on the pegs if you're doing a lot of rough stuff. Arne> off road pounding.

I'd have to disagree with this. Besides quick service, I've had excellent experience with Aerostitch. A friend of mine gave me an Unobtanium electric vest. It had only been worn a couple times so was still in new-like condition. Aerostitch exchanged it for no charge for a larger size that fot me better. No hassles what-so-ever. Kurt Simpson ordered a riding suit and they sent him a few different pieces so he could pick and choose those that he liked best. Once he'd made his choices, he sent them all back and had the pieces that he'd chosen altered (I believe at no charge). If this isn't awesome customer service, I don't know what is. Arne> >you again.
