I put the cam in several years ago, it was a cam that a racing buddy of mine who worked at White Brothers at the time "just had laying around the shop". I'm not entirely sure where it originally came from, but it was free, and at the time, I was sort of in 'experimental' mode with the bike. Now, although the motor really pulls, it's a little high strung. I'm always a little unsure of whether it's going to grenade or not somewhere far from home, so I'm in the process of returning it to mostly stock form so I can take longer trips without fear. I figured the KLR list was a good place to start hunting down parts. Scott

Tim, Thanks for the info. I am taking a hard look at coming out to your place for the Labor Day ride. Depending on how Jill (my wife) takes to riding this summer I am going to try and convince her to come along. I'm sure I will be in touch with you either before then or at the ride about some of your cool goodies for our bikes.
